new? new. New. NEW!

New. Unfamiliar. Strange. Different. Raw. Having no previous example or precedent or parallel.

The many definitions of “new” are intriguing.

New Home. New Job. New Friends. New challenges. New adventures.

Yesterday I said goodbye. To a place that has been home for longer than I care to admit, but that will forever define a part of me. To good friends, both old and new. To comfort and familiarity. To fear of change and fear of stagnation.

Today I woke to a world covered in snow. There are new friends to make (why does that make me sound like a mad scientist who is going to make people Frankenstein style?), new comforts to find, and new adventures to have.
